Fine art for the digital age
Overview
About This Course
This course explores the intersection of traditional fine art practices and modern digital tools. Students will examine how emerging technologies influence and expand the possibilities of contemporary art. Through hands-on projects, students will blend classical art techniques with digital mediums, developing a personal style while exploring new ways to engage with both traditional and digital audiences. Discussions will include the evolving role of the artist in the digital era, ethical considerations in digital art, and the challenges of preserving digital works. (3 semester credit hours)
