Course work emphasizes understanding how visual art can be used to create marketable products. (3 semester credit hours)

Paint Colors – (Acrylics preferred in any brand)
Titanium white
Ivory black
Cadmium yellow pale
Cadmium orange
Cadmium red medium
Alizarin Crimson
Cobalt violet
Ultramarine blue
Permanent green
# 8-10 watercolor round brush
# 12 watercolor flat brush
A palette (anything you can mix paints on)
8 in. X 11 in. heavyweight paper like bristol board or tagboard
X-acto Knife/ Scissors – (If cutting by hand)
Small metal or plastic palette knife for mixing pigments
Containers for water to clean brushes
Paper towels
Tape (masking tape works great)
Natural light (it will help with your mixing)
Brad
Metal Ring
Hole Punch
Optional: Silhouette or Cricut Machine and Materials including pastels, gouache, pens, and camera
