This course explores the intersection of visual art and narrative, providing MFA students with the tools to communicate compelling stories through design. Students will learn to craft narratives utilizing various media and design
principles. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the dynamics of storytelling while integrating the aesthetics and technical aspects of design and art. The course challenges students to think critically about the role of visual design in narrative, encouraging innovative approaches to storytelling. Students will demonstrate their ability to conceptualize, design, and communicate a cohesive story through art and design, showcasing their creative development
and technical mastery. (3 semester credit hours)
