F608 Designing for Usability and Accessibility

This course focuses on the principles of creating digital and physical designs that are intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible to diverse audiences. Students will study a range of accessibility standards and guidelines, while learning
to design with inclusivity in mind. Topics will include user research, interface design, and accessibility tools, all aimed at ensuring products can be used by people with varying abilities and needs. The course emphasizes empathy, problem-solving, and innovation in making design decisions that serve all users effectively. (3 semester credit hours)
