In this course, students will explore new and evolving markets that influence design trends. Emphasis will be placed on identifying and appraising market opportunities, understanding consumer behavior, and adapting design
practices for current innovative business practices and emerging markets. Students will be problem solving ways that they can pivot their designs to work with these evolving markets. (3 semester credit hours)
